VOLANT WARRANTY INFORMATION

One year limited warranty from the date of retail purchase to be free of defects in material and workmanship to the original purchaser (not warranted against normal wear, misuse or abuse).

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

  • Failure of a Volant product due to misapplication, improper installation or maintenance, misuse, abuse, unauthorized repair, accidents, or modifications to the original design.
  • Removal or replacement costs.
  • Damage to related components.
  • Costs incurred to due to down time of vehicle, towing cost or transportation costs.
  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Products used for racing.
  • Shipping costs.

WARRANTY SERVICE PROCEDURE

Warranty claims must have authorization for return (RMA number supplied by Volant). An RMA will only be issued by Volant after a copy of the consumers original sales receipt is mailed or faxed to Volant indicating the date of sale. Any deviation will not be accepted for warranty consideration. Any returned products must be shipped prepaid to Volant, Volant will make every effort to quickly inspect the unit and advise the distributor or customer of the findings. Any out of warranty unit or problems not attributed to a legitimate warranty claim will not be warranted under any circumstances. In the event of a warranty denial, Volant will contact the returning party with an estimate for repair. Any unit not authorized for repair by the distributor or customer within 30 days is subject to Volantˇ¦s right to scrap the unit with no credit given to the distributor or returning party. If the unit is repaired at the customerˇ¦s expense, the unit will be sent back to the distributor or customer at his expense. If a unit is found to be defective Volant will pre pay the freight via UPS ground or common carrier to the distributor or customer within the USA.

PRODUCT RETURN PROCEDURE

  • In the event a problem develops with a Volant product, contact customer service (909)481-3888 or Fax (909)987-8051. It may be determined that the product will have to be returned to Volant. A returned material authorization (RMA number) will be given to you.
  • The distributor or customer should return the product freight paid. It must be accompanied with the original sales receipt and a clear description of the problem.
  • If the product is determined to be defective and within the warranty period, Volant will repair, replace or issue a credit to the distributor at Volantˇ¦s option. Any repaired or replaced product will be returned to the sender freight prepaid via UPS or motor freight.
  • This limited warranty may give you specific legal rights, which vary from state to state.
  • Volant products used for racing are non returnable under any circumstances.
