Volant air intake systems utilize a high-velocity venturi filter adapter which provides a smooth transition through the MAF sensor into the intake tube for a much needed airflow improvement over the factory rubber tubing and resonator box. Volant's Cool Air box is larger than the factory unit and incorporates a larger opening to collect a higher volume of colder ambient air.

United StatesShipping came fast and was packaged very well. Upon installing the item I realized the Coupler that goes over the throttlebody was the wrong size. I was sent the 5.3 L instead of the 6.2 L version of the kit. After talking to them on the phone they sent it out promptly and I got it four to five days later. The airbox does not fit as well as it should as the cross bracing bar is pressed very hard against the top acrylic clear window. After driving it a few times it has developed a small crack on the top window. Sounds great though.

United StatesI've had it now for a month or so and I like the sound and think I've maybe gained a mile or so in mileage but I haven't had a chance to put it through the real test of pulling my 8000 lb trailer to see if it improves my mileage any . I'll let you know later
United StatesVery pleased with my volant cold air intake on my wife’s Yukon Denali. It’s nice and quiet for everyday driving but she cracks open and sounds amazing at wot. Gained considerable amounts of low and mid range power and also picked up around 3 mpg on the highway. I highly recommend.
I have used Volant many times i purchased the power core closed intake installed on our Yukon XL it works wonderfully gives a little extra performance have had it for 6 months no issues as far as codes or lights on dash will definetly buy again.
